American Classic Homes Real Estate is the first company in the Northwest to utilize QR Codes in all aspects of our marketing.

QR Codes are a worldwide phenomena that are now catching on fast in the United States with the explosive popularity of smart phones. The sooner you start using QR Codes for your marketing, the sooner you will be the expert in this new technology in your market.

At American Classic Homes Real Estate we decided that we should be the first real estate company in the Northwest to utilize QR Codes in all aspects of our marketing. On October 25^th, 2010 we rolled out our new marketing campaign using QR Codes. We first added it to our websites, online flyers, online advertising, print flyers, print advertising, yard signs, business cards and letterhead.

The QR Codes work like this – A person will see the QR Code and know exactly what it is because of the look of it, it won’t be confused with other types of bar codes. They simply scan the code using their smartphone such as iphone, blackberry or android using a QR Reader app that they can get from their carrier or app store for free. My favorite is BeeTagg which you can download at www.BeeTag.com Once it is scanned, they are immediately directed to your website or any other place that the QR Code directs them to go.

To make a QR Code, you only need to go to the QR Code Generator at http://qrcode.kaywa.com and fill out the information to generate the code. You can either direct them to a website or use other information such as your contact info, or online coupons, your facebook profile, etc.
